Our Weddell Seal Science short film, "How Moms Matter To Weddell Seal Pups", is an Official Selection at the upcoming 2024 Wildlife Conservation Film Festival to be held in Naples, Florida at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center!

This short film was produced by Weddell Seal Population Project multimedia specialists Jeremy Schmidt and Mary Lynn Price, and lead scientist Prof. Jay Rotella. It showcases some great Weddell seal footage by numerous Project members over the years. Underwater footage by Rob Robbins, Steve Rupp, Henry Kaiser, and Mary Lynn Price. Narration by Jeremy Schmidt.

The film is scheduled to be screened on January 20, 2024. Multimedia specialist Mary Lynn Price will be present and participate in a filmmakers panel to discuss the film and the work of the Weddell Seal Population Project.
